Compress Image to 50KB

Shrink a photo to under 50 KB for online forms with tight photo limits. The tool lowers quality only as far as needed to fit.

Add your images

PNG ignores the quality setting because it is lossless. Enhance uses smooth upscaling and sharpening, not AI, so it makes soft images crisper but can't recover detail that isn't there. If your browser can't write AVIF, that option reports an error and you can pick another format.

How to use it

  1. Add your files by dropping them on the tool or choosing them from your device.
  2. Adjust quality, target size or width to get the size you need.
  3. Download the result.

If a photo still comes out above 50 KB, enter a smaller max width too. Smaller dimensions save more than quality alone.

Questions

How does it reach 50 KB?

It tries several quality levels and keeps the best result that fits under the limit.

What if my image stays above 50 KB?

Large or detailed images may need a smaller max width as well. Enter a lower width and try again.
