Double the width and height of an image with smooth resampling and light sharpening.
PNG ignores the quality setting because it is lossless. Enhance uses smooth upscaling and sharpening, not AI, so it makes soft images crisper but can't recover detail that isn't there. If your browser can't write AVIF, that option reports an error and you can pick another format.
Upscaling cannot invent new detail. It works best on images that are only slightly too small.
Very large images are capped to protect your browser from running out of memory.
It will look cleaner than a plain resize, but not as sharp as a higher-resolution original.
